Adrian Hărătău recently joined the firm as a Senior Associate in the firm’s Criminal Law practice group. He is also a teaching assistant in the Criminal Law Department of the Faculty of Law, University “Nicolae Titulescu” in Bucharest since 2010, where he trained numerous generations of prosecutors, judges and lawyers, graduates of the above mentioned university.
Adrian Hărătău distinguishes through his extensive experience in special procedures before prosecuting authorities and the courts of law, particularly in relation to economic crimes, offense or in connection with the service and money laundering etc.
Dragne & Asociații has strengthened its Criminal Law department coordinated by Mr. Stelian Garofil in light of developing the firm’s practice in this field. Earlier last year, Mr. Garofil has been appointed Managing Partner, coordinating the law firm’s activity alongside with Mr. Ion Dragne. The Criminal Law team assists clients before the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA), Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorist (DIOCT), prosecutor’s bodies and courts of law related to various crimes (e.g. tax evasion, bribery, conflict of interest, capital market manipulation or money laundering).
By continuing its policy of recruiting and selecting its attorneys directly from the law schools and among Romanian academics, Dragne & Asociații has also expanded the Litigation and Arbitration team with three new associates. Daniela Voitic is an excellent French speaker, working on commercial law issues, intellectual property and employment, while Andrei Ștefănescu offers legal advice in various cases of commercial disputes. Georgiana Dragomiroiu is the newest team member and she assists our clients in a range of commercial matters, including criminal law.
