Dragne & Asociatiii secured a legal victory for the client CNU (Compania Nationala a Uraniului – The National Company for Uranium Exploitation) in a ruling of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, related to a patent infringement.
The High Court has irrevocably annulled the invention patent for the settler mixer battery installation (installation for nuclear purification of the uranyl nitrate, invented in order to obtain synthesized uranium powder), that is used in the everyday activity of the Feldioara uranium processing facility. The court has confirmed thus that the patent had been obtained fraudulently by some ex-employees of the company.
