Dragne & Associates wins two arbitrations before the Vienna International Arbitration Center of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber.
Our law firm has represented a former member of the Executive Board of the National Electricity Transmission Company – Transelectrica S.A. in two international arbitrations, the last one finalized by the arbitral award rendered in October 2024.
The arbitration disputes had a complex nature and were aimed at obtaining recognition of the client’s rights resulting from the unjust revocation of a mandate contract, as well as the payment of the related damages, that were including a component of the monetary rights due under a non-compete clause.
The two Arbitral Tribunals admitted the motion for arbitration and rendered two arbitral awards (within less than 2 years), confirming the claims and arguments developed by the Dragne & Associates team.
Currently, our firm also manages other cases pending before the Vienna International Arbitration Center of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, hence confirming the solid practice acquired by the lawyers of Dragne & Associates in international arbitration.
