On Friday, 29th June 2018, starting with 13.30, Dragne & Asociatii was represented by Senior Associates, Georgiana Dragomiroiu and Mihail Moisescu, at the “Electronic Signature Seminar. The current state of regulation and implementation in Romanian and European banking practice”, where they discussed about ELECTRONIC SIGNATURES IN THE LIGHT OF REGULATION NO. 910/2014 (“REGULATION EIDAS”).
The electronic signature represents data in electronic form which are attached to or logically associated with other electronic data and serve as a method of identification, which is used by the signatory to sign.
EIDAS Regulation represents a significant step in delivering a unique and dynamic digital European market which allow the increase of digital transactions between Member States under a common legislative framework.
Thus, all the qualified trust services are recognized as having the same value in any EU Member State.
In this regard, each Member State includes in a common EU list of trust the qualified trust service providers and qualified trust services provided by them, which is called TRUST SERVICES, made available to the public at the official European Commission https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/tl-browser/#/
