New regulation regarding the organisation, operation and procedure of the Competition Council

Order no. 101/2012 regarding the Regulation for the organisation, operation and procedure of the Competition Council was published in the Official Gazette no. 113 of 14 February 2012 [in Romanian, ORDINUL nr. 101 din 2 februarie 2012 privind punerea in aplicare a Regulamentului de organizare, functionare si procedura al Consiliului Concurentei]

The main amendments refer to the management body of the Competition Council comprising the president, the general secretary, the directors (managers) and the chiefs of service while the decision making body of the Competition Council comprises the Plenum, the commissions and the president.

The new provisions are also regulating attributions of the above-mentioned bodies and their operation procedure, as well the way the decisions are passed and works of the Competition Council.
