Stelian Garofil leads the firm’s Corporate & Commercial, M&A practice. He advises domestic and international clients on a wide range of issues – in particular general commercial, shareholders disputes, day-to-day operation and insolvency matters.
Stelian Garofil has a wealth of experience as litigator in various areas, focusing on corporate and business law-related disputes, restructuring and insolvency litigation, investigations and criminal procedures, with a particular emphasis on bankruptcy and white-collar crime. He has represented corporations and individuals in criminal and regulatory investigations and in related civil proceedings.
In addition, he has assisted major corporations and financial institutions in some of the most important acquisitions and privatization deals in the Romanian market, and he has experience in negotiating a wide range of transaction documents.
Prior to founding Dragne & Asociatii, Stelian Garofil was Managing Associate at Musat & Asociatii (2004-2010). Stelian Garofil holds a law degree from Nicolae Titulescu University Law School (2000), and he is a member of Bucharest Bar Association and Romanian Bar (2001). He speaks Romanian and English
