Daniel Cirstea specializes in a broad range of litigation matters in commercial, administrative and employment law.

He has substantial experience in public procurement disputes and complex restructuring operations, advising companies on the planning and implementation thereof and the management of reductions in force. His practice also encompasses restructuring & insolvency matters and enforcement procedures. Daniel Cirstea has acted for major companies involved in debt restructuring and advised administrators and liquidators on several high profile insolvency cases.

Prior to joining Dragne & Asociatii, Daniel Cirstea served as head of the legal department of a German group of companies active in the oil & gas industry (2004-2008). Over the years, he has been the lead advisor on cross-border transactions, insurance contracts, merger & acquisitions and litigation issues related to these matters, developing a particular expertise on regulated sectors such as oil & gas.

Daniel Cirstea graduated from the Nicolae Titulescu University Law School, Bucharest (2001). He is a member of Bucharest Bar Association and Romanian Bar (2008). Daniel speaks Romanian and English, and he has a working knowledge of French.
